It’s official…and so well-deserved!

Elaine Welteroth (29) has been appointed editor-in-chief of Teen Vogue. This promotion makes her the youngest editor-in-chief in Conde Nast history, and second African-American to ever be appointed the title in the company’s 107 years (Keija Minor was the first and EIC of Brides magazine).

Welteroth’s resume is nothing to sneeze at as she has written and edited numerous thought-provoking and inspiring pieces for several top publications. Many may already be familiar with her work and strong social media presence. Prior to Teen Vogue, she was Senior Beauty Editor at Glamour, as well as the Style and Beauty Editor at Ebony.
