Bozoma Saint John, now a former executive for Apple Music, has landed a new gig at Uber.

It was later confirmed that she will be Uber’s new Chief Brand Officer. She took the tech world by storm after making an appearance at the WWDC conference in 2016 to introduce updates on iTunes and Apple Music. She was also named Billboard’s 2016 executive of the year for Women In Music.

With Saint John and her impressive resume at the helm, this move could certainly stir up more confidence amongst the company’s investors after what has been a whirlwind year for the brand –  due largely in part to its overall culture and business practices.

Over the last several months, many of Uber’s top leadership positions have gone vacant, with the departures of: VP of maps and business platform Brian McClendon, president Jeff Jones, AI lead Gary Marcus, communications SVP Rachel Whetstone, VP of global vehicle programs Sherif Marakby, VP of product Ed Baker, SVP of engineering Amit Singhal and self-driving car head Anthony Levandowski.
