Mattel unveiled the latest Barbie in its “Shero” collection at Glamour’s Women of the Year Summit – the very first of the brand to wear a hijab. The doll was modeled after Olympic fencer, Ibtijaj Muhammad, who was the first to compete in the games while wearing a hijab.

Some other notable women honored with dolls on the Shero line are Gabby Douglas, Misty Copeland, Ava DuVernay, and Zendaya. The newest addition is scheduled to hit the market in 2018.
