Dennis Edwards, a former lead singer of the Temptations, has died at the age of 74…just one day before his 75th birthday.


Edwards, born on February 3rd in Birmingham, Alabama, joined the Temptations in 1968 and replaced David Ruffin as the lead singer. He performed with the group, off and on, for about 2 decades – with classics “Papa Was a Rollin’ Stone” and “Cloud Nine”.
